Show Your Support for Connecticut Dairy Farms!
If you feel having a local source for fresh milk and supporting an industry that contributes over $1.1 billion and over 4,000 jobs to Connecticut is important, then it's time to give a helping hand to Connecticut Dairy Farms.
The easiest method is to contact your local state legislators to first thank them for their action in 2009 which helped Connecticut dairy farmers and ask them to continue to support dairy in the future. (Click here to visit the Connecticut General Assembly home page which helps you find your contact information for legislators).
You can also contact your Congressman in Washington to urge them to continue to seek to find a solution to the federal dairy milk pricing formula. Our congressmembers can be reached at:
John Larson, 1st District (860) 278-8888
Joe Courtney, 2nd District (860) 886-0139
Rosa DeLauro, 3rd District (203) 562-3718
Jim Himes, 4th District (866) 453-0028
Chris Murphy, 5th District (860) 223-8412
Lastly, if you want to show your love for Connecticut Dairy you can always purchase one of our stylish T-shirts from our 2009 Save Dairy campaign featuring Daisy, our loveable mascot. Select sizes are still available!
